Dental expense benefits are generally sold as part of group health
insurancecoverage. Most insurers do not provide individual dental policies.
Dental benefits are offered for preventive maintenance (cleanings and
x-rays), repair(fillings, root canals, and so forth) and replacement
of teeth.
